Actually, Disneyland in the 90s was amazing. I was learning all the inside tips through rec.art.disney message boards before all the tips and tricks went viral once everyone was online.
I have been to Club 33 one time for a special event in September 2000. It was limited to about 300 people, and I think cost $150, maybe less.
We met early in the morning at the front of the park. We were escorted into the park by a Cast Member. Adventureland was still undergoing its nightly maintenance, so we saw see trucks and people working to ready the park for the day. Club 33 was really cool. Learning the history of the place. I bought a keychain and saved a bunch of paper napkins with the logo on it that I still have.
They gave us a limited edition pin. It's now worth double the cost of the event.

After breakfast in Club 33, which was delicious, we met with three different Imagineers. They set up little sitting areas in front of the castle, in the Town Square, and in Frontierland. We got to listen to stories from Blaine Gibson, Bob Gurr, and John Hench. I wish I could go back and experience it again!
I bet they could charge $1500 for the same experience today.
