I fought my way through Elantris. Knew what was going to happen about 400 pages before it happened. There were
a few pleasant surprises along the way. Is Stormlight similar to that? Worth the slog? It sure has great ratings.

2nd best series ever written. Right after the Stormlight Archives and right before Lord of the Rings

books 4-8 are a little slow at times. Book 1 is amazing all by itself, so go ahead and read that to see.
