It certainly helps Giannis that he had a team around him to compete and not have to
carry the load himself.
With a mostly healthy team (minus the 2nd best player) Jokic went into Phoenix 5 days ago and embarrassed the Suns. +28 in 35 minutes. Booker was -24, Paul was -23. Funny how that works when you aren't missing all of the guards on your team.
Has their ever been a team so luck on injuries as the Phoenix Suns last year? They played LA who was without AD. They played the Nuggets minus Murray, Barton and Dozier. They played the Clippers minus Kawhi.
Then they played a healthy team and lost. I expect a big regression this year from Phoenix.

Jokic is only 26 and I would argue has yet to reach his peak. Bird's best years were when he was 27, 28 and 29
