But a very difficult place to be a missionary. There were good times but there were many very difficult times and it seemed like the whole country wanted to ignore you. I wouldnt trade the experience for anything. The castles and forests were beautiful but the best part was still the teaching opportunities. We would sometimes go days without a single person even being willing to listen for more than 30 seconds. Some weeks were amazing while other weeks were very hard. As a whole, I loved it.
