number when it’s got to be closer to 10-15%. Gas alone is up 45%. Bacon, pork, beef, and other meats are 18-19%. Eggs at 13%. Chicken and apples at 8-9%. List goes on and on.

Just with gas (I have to commute into the office pretty much every day) and groceries alone we’re feeling a financial pinch we haven’t felt in a looong time.

I was talking with my boss about it and he cited the 5% number and looked at me like I was crazy for saying it feels more like we’ve received a 10-15% pay cut.
