historical bar has been set and I am curious who some of the candidates might be. Someone said Sheri Dew but does she have a PhD and what is her experience in higher Ed? However, someone of her stature with the BOT is probably what would be needed.

Samuelson and Bateman were already GAs when they were selected to be BYU president. Is there someone currently serving in a General Leadership position (RS, YW, Primary) who would qualify? There are some real sharp sisters in those groups but I don't know if any have Higher Ed experience or ambitions.
