ReyOso Intervention Needed

With 300K down, 6K/month on a 1.3M loan + ~1500 a month in property taxes.

This isn't a permanent move, and the last thing I want to do is be either underwater or stuck here when my move time comes in a few years and I'm looking to bust out of here ASAP. We looked at houses that are roughly the equivalent to what we're renting, and they were around $1.6M, leading to the math above.
