I do a lot of short term trading. But I don't really tell people I do that
anymore because people would either:
1) tell me how impossible it is to do
2) ask me how much I make (which I don't mind sharing with close friends who know how much work I have put into it, but I don't want to give others the impression it is a get rich quick)
3) want to learn how to do it in a week or two because they hate their job
4) want some advice on what to buy/sell which is probably what your question is getting at.
So now, I just say I am a stay at home dad or trophy husband.
