Recruiting is like dating. It’s hit and miss and you never know who will bite
It’s really hard for teams not to be a top destination to manage rosters and recruiting. Sometimes when you’re desperate you over extend to ensure you land enough which sometimes lands you too many and then hurts future recruiting.
It’s tough to do if you’re not a blue blood unsure who will sign and if they’re the caliber you want.
It’s not like Crowton who had 6 scholarship QBs with some Jucos signing still.
