I love Kalani and hope he stays, but he'd be able to make a "pros" list just as
long at a place like UW or USC. We could also create a "cons" list for BYU and a "cons" list for UW/USC.

The bottom line is we don't really know. He may feel loyalty and want to keep building here. He may feel like he's an elite coach and would like to prove it at a blue blood program. He got to see first hand the advantages those programs have over BYU, Utah, and Oregon State. Realistically, there are only TWO blue blood programs out there that Kalani would EVER really be considered for: USC and Washington. I don't think he's a fit at Oregon, and his background and recruiting experience are out west. He may believe that his stock will never be higher and this might be his only shot at a blue blood program, and I wouldn't blame him.

As I said though, I really hope he stays here. He's an excellent coach.
