They ran the vaccine clinic which allowed us to free up Medial assistants for extra volume in the sick clinic. That lasted about 3-4 months, and wasn't even during the busiest time.
For the last 3 months northern and central Idaho has been hit really hard, we could use a lot of extra nurses so that our referral hospitals can actually fill the beds they have. Its about to get even uglier in a month when 20-30% of nurses lose their jobs because they decline the vaccine. I'm honestly concerned that our small critical access hospital isn't going to survive.
