Jaren will not be at BYU after next season. He entered this year knowing he would leave to the NFL after the 2022 campaign. After competing with Zach and watching his rise to the draft, Jaren believed he could do the same thing.

I don’t know what Baylor or Jacob are planning on doing as I don’t know either or them and none of my contacts speak with them much, but I do believe Baylor would have transferred by now if he intended to. I don’t think Jacob will transfer either—BYU has been his goal for a long time and he had options to sign with playoff programs out of high school. Moreover, not playing immediately is a lot easier to swallow when you wait behind two NFL QBs. Presumably, he’ll be the first BYU QB to lead us into the Big 12.
