Skeptical Optimist Intervention Needed
Speaking of tipping, I went out to a pretty nice place last weekend and I tipped
my usual amount - take 20% and then round up to make the math easy (so if say the bill is $112.xx, I'd take $22.40 and then round up to $23 for a total of $135.xx), so it's usually like 21-22%.

But then I noticed that the "suggested tip" amounts at the bottom of the receipt were 20%, 25%, and 30%.

Are we really at a point now where a 21% is on the low end of a tip? Do people really regularly tip 30% now?
