No shortage of investors happy to dump money in. Founders tell their stories and de-risk by cashing out along the way.
This plays into the strengths of tech/SaaS companies, where the costs are so disproportionate in adoption. So you ignore profitability and dump money into sales/marketing and product development. As adoption widens, marginal costs flatten out significantly. The long-term benefits of being the first mover in a new category of software are immense. So again, no shortage of funding, even for unprofitable companies.
