from South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. They were also taking cash donations and I'm sure that piled up as well. I was told there were 1800 tickets sold to the tailgate in advance ... don't know if extras were allowed in on game day, but it was a big crowd. For the game itself, I suspect we were over half of those in attendance. In talking to some of the locals, they said they've never seen a crowd like that before.

Independence has been really nice for those of us in the eastern half of the US. We've managed to get to at least one game a year. However, I've not seen us do the donation effort before, so that was a really nice touch!
