People bag on BYU because of the HC, but the HC and BYU's mission are what make BYU great. I think coaches, or even professors for that matter, that move on for professional reasons may do well, but whatever they do won't necessarily have the same level of "inspiration" behind it as it does at BYU. I'm not saying God's behind any BYU athletic success, since we've seen our share of failures. But I am saying the motivation of the coaches takes on a different dimension and level here for members of the sponsoring institution than it does at any other school. Anyone walking away from BYU may have million$ of reasons to do it (though I'm not sure that's as big an issue post BigXII), but life isn't all about football victories and dollars. Kalani seems to know that; his teams show it. If I was wrong he'd have gone for it vs. Utah and GA Southern.
