I bet if you (or Kalani) ask Bronco if he regrets leaving BYU, Bronco would say that he cherished his time but doesn't regret anything.
People are putting too much into the sentimentality of it all. From what I've seen from Kalani, including the Deep Blue this week, Kalani is a family/God first person. And if he's able to provide for his great grandkids by maximizing his earning potential, while getting Fesi and his guys on the staff a big raise, all while staying an active member and spreading the Gospel, I think he'd do it.
Hopefully BYU matches whatever is offered, but Kalani can be Kalani wherever he's at. He might just have a bigger pile of money in Seattle or LA.
