makes the decision to leave, any more than I would fault BYU if they decided not to make a matching offer. Kalani has done a good job the last two years and deserves a lot of credit. Sometimes it makes more sense to take a big program deal that ends up paying you a lot for just a couple years and sometimes it makes as much or more sense to take less for a job you would likely still have in 10-12 years. This isn’t intended to be an insult to Kalani but I just don’t think Kalani gets a second contract with a Washington.
