If I am not mistaken, Whitt has a contract with the U that gives him tons of perks after he retires with some consulting duties and even free college for his grandkids. I would be shocked if he left to go to another program at this point. I hope he retires soon. I talked to my Utah buddy and he has heard - very 3rd hand info that Whitt doesn’t want to leave until Harland is gone as AD but he said he truly doesn’t know how true any of that is.
