Some things yes, some things no. It depends on what I’m giving up, obviously.
The OP is asking that people who are knowingly ill don’t attend regular social events. I think that’s fine.
Do I think someone should never leave their house because there are germs out there? Of course not!
It’s not some sort of full on hypochondriac or nothing situation.
