Remember after we beat Utah how many BYU fans poo pooed that win saying that Utah wasn't very good this year? Lol. Sometimes we can have some really stupid fans. They weren't going to celebrate that victory and felt like it was a hollow win against a bad team. Same with Washington State. They were upset that we barely beat them on the road. Now that we are ending the season we can see that some of those teams are actually pretty good.

Some fans seem to think that in the 80's and 90's we were consistently beating up really good teams year in and year out. But the reality is we were beating up on some very mediocre teams and only occasionally beating good teams. It wasn't very often during our history that we've beat P5 teams with a winning record or good teams. My definition of a good team is a team that ended the season ranked. A decent team is one that ended the season bowl eligible. This year we've not only beat more P5 teams than we have ever beat in a single season in our history, but we've beat more teams that are going to be bowl eligible than I think we have ever beat. Virginia, Utah, Arizona State, Utah State, and Washington State. Utah will definitely finish the season ranked.

These last two seasons have been pretty epic for BYU fans, and I for one am sure enjoying it and trying to soak it all up.
