USC is the most talented team BYU will play this year. Fortunately for the Cougars they seem to have quit and to be poorly coached.

Utah seems to have hired a good basketball coach and after the 2019 game who knows what type of officiating we will get on the hill tonight. BYU has also really struggled to find anyone besides Barcello who can shoot and unless they find an offense the Cougars will have some bad losses.

Any Elite 8 match-up will feature two good teams. Fortunately for the soccer girls this game is in Provo and I think the Cougars will pull it off but soccer can be a cruel game where the best team doesn't always win (see RSL vs Seattle).

I don't know much about women's basketball but playing beating ranked opponents isn't easy, even if the Cougars should be ranked as well.
