Did the yewts or Ags ever even offer Fouss? Seton Hall sure's not a shabby offer, but I don't remember there being any instate buzz about him before we locked him up.
There are certainly some undersized bigs you make exceptions for. And broad shoulders, freak wingspans, shooting ability, & touch at the rim are all pretty big criteria in determining an exception. That's Yoeli & Fouss.
That said, Yoeli & Fouss are pretty different animals. Yoeli was the thin-waisted, short-legged guy with a long spine & the arms to match. In terms of body proportions & athleticism, Spencer Johnson is a pretty good small-man version of Yoeli, imo. It's a pretty rare & bball-friendly body type.
Fouss on the other hand is a long-limbed, short-spined bear of a man. His hands are easily the strongest I've ever seen on a BYU player.
