I don't remember hearing about flu problems in the past

BC held a walk-thru practice Wednesday as a total of 32 players were impacted with the flu this week.

10 players out of today’s game due to the flu along with CB Josh DeBerry and DE Shitta Sillah.

Also heard Michigan State is down like 20 players to the flu. Does this happen every fall and I've forgotten about it? Don't recall seeing multiple teams missing multiple players due to the flu.
