Whether Cinci makes the playoff or not does not affect BYU.
Now, as far as the Big 10, if MSU wins today, they could get an at-large spot, but that is not affected by this game. If Wisconsin wins today and in the Big 10 championship, they would be in the Rose Bowl and both Michigan and Ohio State would get at-large bids/playoff spot. That wouldn't be good for BYU.
