Hard to feel bad for the Utes. CFB is cyclical. They chose to spike the football
and try to big time us, including by trumpeting the Pac 12 brand for the past 10 years and trying to duck the rivalry game on several occasions.
This year is the reason why the Utes should have been more gracious, even in winning. They lost both the MBB and FB rivalry games, the Pac 12 is looking like a dying clown show, and we're headed to a P5 conference that is looking better and better by the day.
A giant kudos to Holmoe and Kalani for handling the rivalry with class, even when the other side hasn't. And while there's always a place for banter and good-natured smack talk among fans, here's to continuing to handle the rivalry with class on our side as we go into the next chapter of BYU sports.
