I was super bummed when Penn St wet the bed yesterday. That would have been losses in 3 of their final 4 games (despite beating Michigan).

Had that happened, the final NY6 spot would have been a real possibility (sans any rankings shenanigans by the committee).

I think BYU would have been in if:

Michigan beats Iowa (like they will be favored to)

AND

Cinci beats Houston (thus no at-large for Cinci)

That is how freaking close we were!
