In year's past, we had good shooters with a good rebounder or two. Our defense was not good under Dave Rose (no disrespect, he's one of our best-ever coaches). I think it's because we didn't have the athletes.

We have the athletes this year. We have so much length and depth it's scary. Lucas and Barcello are elite scorers... not to mention what I've seen inside from Baxter, Lohner, and Traore. We haven't even really seen Seneca, Knell, or George have real coming-out parties... but we know they're capable (we've seen moments from all of them, we know they can score just haven't seen the brilliance this season we know they're capable of).

Johnson is another guy... one of the best on-ball defenders since Jackson Emery. Pretty dang good scorer too.

This is one of the deeper/more athletic teams we've ever had. I agree we haven't really been tested yet, but the talent, length, and athleticism are off the charts.

Color me excited for this team. If I had to guess, I'd guess we're top 15 at this point, maybe top 10. But I'll give the caveat that we haven't been tested yet so I don't think we know for sure yet.
