Couldn't be more proud of Kaleb...he was so incredibly nice to my son
During one of the earlier home games in the season my 7 year old son hung over the front of the stands to give the players high-fives after the game. When Kaleb came around my son asked him if he could have his gloves. He could have kept going, he could have just replied 'sorry, I already promised them to someone else" and kept moving, but he stopped and had an unforgetful conversation with my son and I. He explained he couldn't keep going because my son had looked him straight in the eyes and asked, and although he promised someone else his gloves, he wanted to give my son something. He asked us to add him on Instagram and to get in touch with him there. So we did, and we've been talking with him through there each week, giving him props, telling him good luck, and my son has loved being able to do so.
The last home game, my son was once again high-fiving players after the game. Kaleb came by and said "hey Kaleb, remember me?" and he did remember him. He tried to take his gloves off right there, spent about 2 minutes trying to get the tape off, but they wouldn't come off. He then ran all the way from the North Endzone to the sideline and back to get my son a pair of gloves. An incredibly nice guy. You can tell he loves playing for the Cougs, and he's great for the team and the program. My son will forever remember these experiences.

GO KALEB and GO COUGS!
