My 14 yr old daughter clearly heard and understood the chant coming through the TV. She kind of looked at me funny and before she said a word, I said "yep, they are chanting what you think they are chanting."

She got kind of a sad look and said something like "why in the world would they say that too us? they don't even know what we are like. I don't like USC."

I told her yeah, it's not very nice, and they are kind of dummies given their own quarterback is a member of the Church. She just shook her head and then this was the gold part: "I'm so glad we cheer for BYU and not them."

Nothing like a little bit of "us vs. the world" mentality to solidify fandom!
