In what world? It is immensely popular.

Hilarie Clinton raves about it as have numerous other influential types. No one is saying “how was that ever okay.”

And the truth is…it is okay. People should be permitted to make whatever art they like (as long as it doesn’t violate the rights of others) and people can choose to see support that art or not.
