That seems to be the easiest path as I see it
Oklahoma St wins but doesn't make the playoff causing Baylor to drop below BYU.
For Oklahoma State not to make the playoff I believe BYU absolutely needs Michigan and Cincinnati to win and probably needs Alabama to win as well (or at least be very competitive).

Baylor and/or Oregon may be more attractive to bowls even if they lose. They don’t have to follow the strict rankings.
