If he is going to go at all, he may want to go this year for this reason
Next year, he could be a better QB but still be drafted later or undrafted because of competition.
I bet with the need for QBs and the lack of competition, he goes 4-6 if he goes now versus 4-6 if he goes next year (even with marked improvement).
