I see a lot of comments on how great “generational wealth” would be
I get that it’s appealing to have all your needs and wants taken care of and not have worry about grinding thru life sacrificing and skimping.

But Why would you want to turn your kids into Uber wealthy, spoiled brats who don’t need to work in life? Hard work isn’t just a means to an end of no work—it is the means to a stronger, more humble person. If you skip the process, you skip what is needed for your child’s development.

Generational wealth causes more issues than it solves. The Millionaire Next Door is 20+ years old now but has great research on how leaving more than >~$10k+ to a child harms their outcomes.
