Dang. I remember some absolutely torrential rain in Hilo that was like 4 or 5
inches a day. Those metal corrugated roofs would make it sound like constant thunder outside. Can't imagine 15" in 24 hours.

My parents house in Hilo got 100+ Inches of rain a year. They had a catch water
