Ok so his first year BYU he will probably RS and won't see any playing time unless Hall goes down at the end of the season, I can then see Dart taking over and still preserving his RS season (Can play in 4 games without losing his RS). Yes... this probably isn't ideal and all, I get that... but he will be BYU starting's QB heading into BIGXII play, possibly with both seasons playing both Texas and OU.

Now... consider this... this OL that BYU has right now, could potentially play as a group the next 3 seasons... and that's a big deal to the success a QB will have. BYU's OL is legit, and most of them are the same class level he is... they will be there for at least 2 years of him starting. (BTW, I believe if Dart does come to BYU, he's starting both is RS-Soph. and Junior year and then heading to the NFL) So those 2 years he will have a very experienced OL.

WR's... Romney and Nacua will be gone, but the depth and future at WR is actually really solid. Hill could potentially be with Dart both of Darts seasons. Add Roberts, Epps, McKenzie and Hagen... we could have a WR group the next 3 seasons that will be better than the one we just had this last year. There is a lot of speed, talent and depth here for the next 3 to 4 years.

TE's... Rex and Holker could be playing both seasons with Dart as well.

Basically what I'm saying is... the offense is fairly set for a run at the BIG12... it has everything a QB would want and to be pretty dominate as well.

I have zero inside info... but I think BYU has a legit chance to get the kid, it all depends on if he wants a program to start right away in or is willing to take a RS year his first year and then be handed the keys after 2022.
