2.5 days in NYC with just me and my 18 year old daughter—ideas?
We leave in 2 weeks. We have tix to 3 Broadway shows already, staying in mid-town.

Wondering what ideas you guys have about what to do during days, cool places to eat, etc.?

Looking for iconic/unusual NYC things that we haven’t already done. We went to Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty/Battery Park/Wall Street/911 Museum as a family a few years back, so probably won’t do those again.

Was thinking of the following general things as possibilities and would love thoughts on these and/or other, better ideas too. Obviously we really don’t have time in such a short trip for more than 4-6 things at most in addition to the shows.

MOMA
Metropolitan Museum
Museum of Natural History
Empire State Building or Freedom Tower observatories
Something in Central Park (idk what might be a good choice-I am assuming it will be frigid)
Columbia or NYU campus
High Line park
Brooklyn Bridge (maybe walk over IDK)
Grand Central
Either FDRs mansion in Hyde Park or Sagamore Hill on Long Island (Teddy’s home)

My daughter doesn’t care for sports so no Yankee stadium or MSG.

Maybe we should just do some kind of bus tour to make it easier. IDK.

I only know a little about most of those places. I’ve been to NYC a few times but not enough experience to have any idea what things might be best.
