Edenton. There’s about 1000 people that live there, maybe 5000 people in the surrounding counties. Does anybody live near there or is familiar with the town?

The town has a lot of interesting history, apparently it was the first area settled by European immigrants. I went to church there, they have a small branch, there were only about 20 people in attendance, I was told that about half the congregation because it was right after Xmas. One member told me that the courthouse there is 100 years older than the United States, very interesting!

It has a very quaint historic main street, I like walking down it at night by myself, I ran into one of those old wooden contraptions on display that you stick your head and hands through for public humiliation. Also lots of old cannons pointing towards the water.

The hardest part for me is there is nowhere really good to eat, they have one restaurant called the Governors pub, that is frequently out of food, and just a lot of fast food garbage besides that. I work at the hospital, the food there is not too great either.

I am trying to get moved from their one hotel to an Airbnb that will be a much better situation for me.

I was just curious to know if anybody else knows about this town? I will be going there quite a bit this year. It’s a really lonely place to be by yourself, so somebody please be my friend over there!
