A guy in my ward had a 7500 square foot house with a pool and tennis court.
His kids also went to private school, which I didn't even know was a thing. We went over to their house for 4th of July. I remember asking my mom how people get rich and she said you be a doctor or lawyer. She hadn't heard of private equity, banking, venture capital, or anything like that. The OJ trial was going on at the same time and I thought lawyer looked pretty interesting so that was the first time I decided to be a lawyer. I changed my mind plenty of times but had no other discernable employable skill so here I am... definitely not living in 7,500 square feet with a pool or tennis court and with kids in public school. 🙂

Too bad you didn't go to my kid's schools. Lunch is free for all students. I don't know how they do it, but its all free
