If the soccer team could realistically bring in $40,000 per home game plus concession sales over 10 home games a season, I would think the team would gross between 400 and 500k a year there. Add another 150k for camps and 100k for sponsorships, a soccer team would cover about 70% of its annual budget.
I don't know about BYU swimming and diving, but Utah's team generates about 150k a year in revenue. If that is similar at BYU, I would think it covers about 15% of its needs.
