Kalani is where the buck stops. If he continues to be OK with a mediocre defense and defensive coordinator, then his is going to torpedo his own program. If he keeps ignoring the numbers and what is painfully obvious to watch on the field, then they'll sink back to mediocrity the second they hit the BIG XII. Could even happen as soon as this coming year.
They need to make changes to the scheme, to the coaching, and to the way they practice on the defensive side of the ball. The status quo is not going to cut it.
