Nor do I fail to see the good he has done and don't think it should all be thrown out due to his DUI.
I don't think he should be excused from judgement and criticism, especially because of his position. Another post I made regarding Bilas' praise of Few, it just seemed to lay it on a little thick as if almost to try and detract from his DUI. Obviously that is my perception.
In his public position, he and broadcast media are in a position to educate and warn of risks of drunk driving. If it were distracted driving I'd be making the same argument.
It's a fine line between accountability and forgiveness.
