The protomolecule was or did. The detective who played such a huge role in the beginning just disappeared and then came back in a later season on the ring planet. Did I just miss something? It was so nebulous and appeared and disappeared in seasons. (Maybe I just forgot things over time, eg didn't realize Clarissa had been in previous seasons when she came back with Amos lol).

If they knew this was the last season, why did they keep showing the Laconia stuff? I've seen a lot of people on Reddit hype that storyline but it never went anywhere. There's some random thing in the sky, the "dogs" turn dead people into zombies, and the ring gate there is now closed. Is there going to be an Amazon movie or something?
