Okay, but what’s the difference between a 21 point blow out and a 42 point one?
They are both terrible games. You said it would result in more blow outs, but the Idaho st and BYU vs LSU examples are two games that were already blow outs and were already terrible games to watch, so what you mean is “it will result in making existing blow outs even bigger!” But who cares? A blow out is a blow out. Let Vegas decide the spread.
