now have to purchase something called Genie+ which allows you to reserve them through the app just like MaxPass at DL used to do. It functions basically the same way fast passes used to, except it's all digital through the app. You can only have 1 at a time which isn't new, but what is new is that you can only it use it once per ride per day.

However, the lightning lanes for most popular rides (1-2 per park) aren't available on Genie+. You have to spend extra money to reserve those separately. These are called individual lightning lanes. You are only allowed to reserve 1 of these at a time, but they are not tied to the Genie+ lightning lanes so you can have 1 of each kind at the same time.
