I'd heard a lot about how great BYU's 3pt defense was so I thought I'd dig into the numbers a bit. Currently, according to NCAA stats we have the 16th best 3pt defense. Since SOS matters in determining how well opposing teams do at shooting, I decided to compare Kenpom's Adjusted Offensive Efficiency of Opponents and see how we compared to the other top 16 3pt def% teams.
1. VCU - 60
2. Grand Canyon - 354
3. UC Riverside - 271
4. LSU - 22
5. UNC Asheville - 186
6. Kansas State - 155
7. Oakland - 80
8. Iowa St. - 77
9. Jacksonville - 325
10. North Texas - 30
11. Minnesota - 29
12. SDSU - 111
13. Hampton - 335
14. V. Tech - 66
