Utah fan set a perfect example for my kids today.
Daughter played in a large volleyball tournament today in the bay area. Of course they require masks and have security enforcing the mask mandate. My wife points out a guy wearing a Utah sweater. He fits the profile perfectly: overweight, carrying a coffee, and looks like a mess. And he isn't wearing a mask. He sits next to his wife and teenage son (who is wearing Lululemon and a large gold chain).

I point him out to my kids as a good example why we don't like the University of Utah. Literally in the middle of my banter, security goes up to the guy and tells him to put on the mask. He does, but 10 seconds after security leaves he puts it below his nose. Security notices and immediately walks back and tells him to put the mask on properly. He gets very upset with security, but eventually complies. However, after security leaves he puts his mask down AGAIN, and this time he is kicked out for good, causing a huge distraction. So he missed the entire day of his daughter's tournament.

Oh but it gets better. During a break we are in the parking lot and notice his family hanging out with their kicked out yewt dad. He decided to park illegally next to the entrance, blocking a handicap spot! Of course I take the opportunity to instruct my children once again. We overhear the family scheming how to get dad back in the tournament (wear different clothes, etc.). I don't think he tried, all talk.

Our daughters ended up playing each other. We won easily, so that was good. During the game the mom and teenage son kept their mask down below their nose paying homage to their fallen yewt father.
