vaccine did not limit the severity but people are giving it way too much credit when the original narrative was it would stop the spread now it is changed to reduce severity to something that is not that severe. I would think your natural immunity from recovering from covid the first time should get more credit than the vaccine.

I think the credit to it not being severe would go in the following order
1. Omnicron is not that severe
2. You are relatively healthy
3. You have natural immunity from previously recovering from covid
4. You were vaccinated
