I see. If you follow the instructions for the W4 it should help you put the right amounts into the credits box
etc. If you do that and they still withhold too much you can add more. The numbers you put into the W4 don't have to correspond to reality in any way. They are just inputs into a formula that the employer uses to withhold a certain amount. So you can change those numbers as you please in order to get a withholding number you want.

You could also try using this: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/tax-withholding-estimator

It asks for a lot more information but will tell you exactly what values to put into the W4 to get the correct withholding.
