My theory is missions negatively impact baseball more than other sports
so relying on RMs and Utah/LDS kids might make it a harder battle.
Combine that w/ the usual recruiting limitations (cold weather, no year round play, less home games to start the season) than you're fighting an uphill recruiting battle for prospects outside of the state
But yeah, the future of BYU baseball in the Big12 is pretty bleak imo unless the recruiting base changes (or so it seems)
